Throwback

This fortnight, we are casting back 20 years to 2004. We will be focusing on the start of Box Legal and what life was like at the time, including the importance of After The Event Insurance at the time, general throwbacks, and pop culture!

Having worked in the personal injury market for a long period of time, both Daniel and Simon struggled to find ATE insurance that would provide them with the cover but also allowed them to move forwards with their case without too much reporting. The need for this type of insurance became one of the main reasons to start Box Legal and the adverts in our earlier days portray the need for a simple ATE product.

Daniel Morris

Daniel was thirty-five when he started Box Legal with Simon Pinner. This is collection of photos from that time. Having left KSB Law, Daniel and Simon became Entrepreneurs and developed the Box Legal product. The need for a policy with minimal administration, competitive premiums and an insurer that paid claims had become vital. Not much has changed (and Daniel still looks the same as well!)
